Highlighted Major Capabilities

  • Combat-relevant research trauma models
  • Full round-the-clock intensive care unit studies continuing for 72 hours
  • State of the art critical care equipment
  • State of the art anticoagulation equipment and monitoring
  • State of the art immunomodulation assessment capabilities
  • Damage-Associated Molecular Pattern and Pathogen-Associated Molecular Pattern - assessment and histopathology

2035 "paradigm-changing" efforts include:

  • Biologically friendly partial organ support
  • Wearable critical care and full multi-organ support platform for conscious ambulation without mechanical ventilation

While moving toward these goals:

  • Simplified field deployable lung and renal support without heparin administration
  • Avoid mechanical ventilation; oxygenate and ventilate the blood without thrombotic complications
